Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Opportunities/ Partnership/ Outpatient Group Practice

Due to the high demand of patients seeking psychiatric help, we are expanding our team. We are seeking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners who can help us deliver quality services to the patients.

We are currently offering outpatient services in San Jose, California. You can grab this opportunity if you want to establish your practice in the bay area.


Working Hours

Fulltime (up to 40-50 hours per week)
Part-time (no less than 24 hours per week)


Minimum Qualification

  • Completion of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program (PMHNP)

  • Membership or Fellowship has never been subject to any professional liability

  • Accredited by ANCC (PMHNP-BC)

  • Valid License issued by the United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) for controlled substances

  • No past disciplinary actions or pending malpractice lawSuites

  • Current NP License in California


Additional Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Handling database and documentation

  • Knowledge of alternative communication systems and technology

  • CPR and First Aid certification

  • Compassion and Enthusiasm is always appreciated

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Able to summarize clinical information in a timely manner

Overview of the role

  • Must be able to balance different roles simultaneously

  • Able to review patient histories and can make accurate health diagnosis

  • Can help create a treatment plan that meets patients’ specific needs

  • Collaborate with dedicated staff to ensure the highest quality care

  • Offer feedback to the patients and their family about their treatment outcomes

  • Provide emotional support to patients and help them to reach their treatment goals

  • Trained to make sound choices for the patient

  • Trained to handle real-life psychiatric situations encountered in a variety of clinical settings

  • Able to work independently under psychiatric supervision

  • Flexible with scheduling

  • Able to work with a diverse population

  • Engage with physicians while reviewing cases and treatment

Contract

Potential Income

30%/70% of net reimbursements with no hidden deductions
Expected Income 5,00,000 Annually (full-time psychiatrist)

Minimum Qualification

  • ABPN certified Physician and Surgeon License

  • M.D. or D.O.

  • Valid License issued by the United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) for controlled substances

  • No past disciplinary actions or pending malpractice lawSuites

  • Current Medical Practice License in California


Overview of the role

  • Comprehensive Evaluation of the patients as per medical standards

  • Clinical supervision for Nurse Practitioner is optional with potential to earn more.

  • Review of Treatment plan and outcomes

  • Education of ancillaries as required

  • Additional responsibilities as directed by the Medical Director (within the context of outpatient settings)

Minimum Qualification

  • Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field

  • Unrestricted License to practice in California

  • Clinical Experience and/or training is a bonus


  • Overview of the role (Including, but not limited to):

  • Conduct psychological assessment, treatment, training, and clinical supervision

  • Provide supervision to psychological associates

  • Administer all required psychological testing and associated services

  • Conduct appointments with clients seeking a mental health professional

  • Establish a trusting relationship with clients

  • Educate the client and their family members about the diagnosis and treatment process

  • Refer clients to outer services that meet their specific needs

  • Ensure and Maintain the confidentiality of each client

  • Confer with physicians and other team members regarding patients’ treatment

  • Ensure the documentation are completed and concise

  • Additional responsibilities as directed by the Medical Director (within the context of outpatient settings)
